Goblin Gathering Family (2021)MANATEE COUNTY, FL (September 23, 2022) – Time to scare up a costume and prepare for a treat! Manatee County is set to celebrate Halloween in a safe and fun-filled environment during the 20th Annual Goblin Gathering from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, October 14, at GT Bray Park.

This family-friendly event will feature a costume contest, face painting and bounce houses. A $5 wristband will be sold for children to participate in the hay maze, bounce on inflatables or be festively face painted. Wristbands will go on sale at the GT Bray front desk (during normal hours of operation) on Friday, October 7, through 7 PM the night of the event. For those wanting to pay at the door, cash only is accepted. Parental participation and trick-or-treating is free.

Representatives from several local community partners will distribute “treats & sweets” to participants, providing a safe alternative for children to trick-or-treat. Opportunities for non profits and businesses to exhibit are still open, with applications available for download on the County’s Goblin Gathering Webpage.

Vendors will also be on hand with food for purchase.

G.T. Bray Park is located at 5502 33rd Avenue Drive West in Bradenton. Goblin Gathering visitors may access G.T. Bray Park via 59th St. W. or 51st St. W. and are asked to park near the Recreation Center.
