Lakewood Ranch Blvd. & Clubhouse Drive Improvements Public Information Session
MANATEE COUNTY, FL (May 4, 2023) – Manatee County is hosting a Public Information Session for an upcoming intersection improvement project on Lakewood Ranch Boulevard at Clubhouse Drive. The meeting will be held on Monday, May 22, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Lakewood Ranch Townhall, 8175 Lakewood Ranch Blvd., Lakewood Ranch, FL, 34202.
The information session will allow the public to learn more about the intersection improvements planned for Lakewood Ranch Blvd. at Clubhouse Drive. Guests are invited to view design boards and project plans. Project staff will be on hand to answer questions and provide other project-related information. There will be no formal presentation, and guests may arrive anytime between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
The proposed project calls for the installation of traffic signals with mast arm supports at the intersection and lane modifications to improve traffic flow and safety along the corridor. New crosswalks with crosswalk signals also will be installed. Additionally, the project will provide fiber optic communication-related infrastructure and other Advance Traffic Management System (ATMS) devices to ensure efficient traffic cycling.
