Ad listing four open positionsMANATEE COUNTY, FL (June 16, 2022) – Manatee County has opened three newly created positions, approved by the Board of County Commissioners, to help combat homelessness in Manatee County: Homeless Policy Coordinator, Outreach Case Manager and Grant Writer.

Homeless Policy Coordinator: Oversees the County’s homeless prevention and response program and works with community groups and other entities that provide resources to the homeless. More Information & Apply Application Deadline: June 20 at 11:59 PM

Outreach Case Manager: Provides case management to those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness with mental health conditions, substance abuse and other health conditions. More Information & Apply Application Deadline: June 20 at 11:59 PM

Grant Writer: Prepares, writes and submits grant proposals to support Manatee County Health Services Section programs and initiatives. This position is responsible for pre- and post-award grant management, including seeking grant funding opportunities, writing and applying for grants, collecting data and reporting.
