March 28: Please note that we are experiencing some technical difficulties with our public computers at the Island Branch and other locations, and availability of public computers and printing services may be limited until we resolve this issue.  We are working to resolve this issue today.

Other News: Our South Manatee Branch will be undergoing some remodeling. New carpet is being installed this Friday, March 31 - Monday, April 3 and the branch will be closed during these dates. All other Manatee Library locations will be open normally and all online services will be available.

The Florida Library Association’s 2016 Library of Year and two-time Innovation winner, the Manatee County Public Library System supports the County’s growing community and visitors through a wide range of educational and technological resources and programs at seven facilities in downtown Bradenton (Riverwalk), the east county region, the south county area, Holmes Beach, Palmetto and Ellenton. In 2019, Manatee Library locations were visited by nearly 800,000 customers who made use of our resources over 4.5 million times (a record high!). We offer a wide array of digital eBook/eAudio/movies; unique collections such as early literacy kits, telescopes, tools and museum passes; databases; classes; and special events for people of all ages.
