FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
MANATEE COUNTY, FL (Friday, January 24, 2025) – Manatee County Utilities Department will be issuing a Precautionary Boil Water Notice, for Gettle KIA of Bradenton (6423 US 41), Magnuson Hotel (6511 US 41), Sarabay Plaza (6513 US 41), 5th Season Diner & Steak (6515 US 41) Auto Stop Tire (6608 US 41), The Plant Place (6611 US 41).

A Water Main Tie-in will be scheduled for Monday, January 27, 2025. The water will be shut off from 9:00 P.M. - 5:00 A.M. Customers are advised that once service is restored, all water used for drinking or cooking should be boiled as a precaution. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. As an alternative, bottled water may be used.

The Wednesday Jan 15 , 2025, Precautionary Notice is in after the water service has been restored.

This precautionary notice will remain in effect until a bacteriological survey has shown the water to be safe, normally 24-48 hours. A Rescission Notice will be issued when lifted. If residents have any questions, they may call 941-792-8811 ext: 5268 or 5216 between 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Manatee County, FL (Friday, January 24, 2025) – Manatee County Utilities Department will be issuing a Water Off Notice for the residents of :

-11111-11117 35th Ct E
        -11008 30th St E

The Water Tie-In is scheduled for Friday, January 24, 2025. The water will be shut off from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Please note that there will not be a need to boil water once water service is restored.

 

RESCISSION OF PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
MANATEE COUNTY, FL (Friday, January 17, 2025) – Manatee County Utilities Department has issued 
a rescission notice for our customers for the addresses of

- 5511 through 5631 39th St E
- Subdivision of Gold Tree

The Tuesday, January 14, 2025, Precautionary Notice is hereby rescinded.
Bacteriological samples collected from locations in the area have been free of contamination 
indicating that the water is safe to drink.
