Author Talk and Book Signing with Animal Advocate Arin Greenwood
Animal Welfare Advocate and Bestselling Author Arin Greenwood will present an author talk and sign copies of her novel, Your Robot Dog Will Die, on Saturday, March 23 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Palmetto Library. The event is free and open to the public. Copies of the book will be available for sale. MCAS will have adoptable-dog “ambassadors” in attendance before the start of the event. Friends of Manatee County Animal Services (FoMCAS) will have an information booth in support of the event.
In Your Robot Dog Will Die, a young dog lover discovers a dangerous secret that forces her to question long-held principles. Greenwood’s charming and poignant near-future novel explores humans’ treatment of both animals and of each other.
Arin Greenwood is an animal writer and former lawyer living in St. Petersburg. Greenwood was the animal welfare editor for The Huffington Post, and now writes about dogs, cats, and other critters for The Today Show, The Washington Post, Slate, Creative Loafing, The Dodo, American Bar Association Journal, and other publications.
