Manatee County Animal Services Offering Fee-Waived Adoptions for “One & Only” Pets Starting Valentine's Day
MANATEE COUNTY, FL (February 12, 2024) – Manatee County Animal Welfare (MCAW) is helping connect pets with their “one-and-only.” There are some pets who want to be the only one in the household. These pets are great with their humans and have all the love in the world to give to you. In celebration of these solo pets, MCAW is running a special promotion starting on Valentine’s Day called "One & Only!" From February 14 to 18, adoption fees are waived for the pets in our adoption centers who prefer to be your special only pet.
“One and Only” pets for fee-waived adoptions include:
- Dogs (located at the Palmetto Adoption Center): Zeus, Falcor, Salty, Sammy, Harambe, Gus, Eggo, Murray, Buster Brown (pictured), Shakira and Rowdy
- Cats (located at Cat Town Adoption Center): Archer (pictured) and Randal
All adoptions include spay/neuter, microchip and rabies certificate (a value of over $300). Manatee County residents are required to license their new pet for an additional $20. The Palmetto Adoption Center is located at 305 25th Street West, and Cat Town Adoption Center is located at 216 6th Avenue East (Bradenton). Bishop Animal Shelter, our intake facility for stray pets, is located at 5718 21st Avenue West (Bradenton).
Walk-ins are welcome, but you can also schedule an appointment mymanatee.org/pets to view all adoptable pets.
